Helston Positive Living Hubs is affiliated with Positive Living Communities - positivelivingcommunies.org - and follows the PLC Hubs Blueprint  and Ethos as set out on their website.

Who We Are

Helston Positive Living Hubs is a membership organisation, with membership currently set at £5 per month.

We are a group of heart-led people working together to co-create a sovereign, holistic society — one where there are no leaders or hierarchical structures, and where every individual has the opportunity to contribute, learn, grow and thrive.

We believe a new era of developing holistic systems is emerging: systems that encourage individual wellbeing, personal growth, freedom, creativity and community connection.

Every person has unique skills, talents and life experience. We see each member as a valuable repository of knowledge, with something meaningful to share and contribute to the wider community.

Our Vision

Our aim is to create a heart-led, supportive and connected community hub in Helston, bringing people and resources together across five key areas.

These five hubs are designed to support practical aspects of everyday life while encouraging greater independence, cooperation and local resilience.

    1. Community Hub
    Connecting local people, growers and producers, housing initiatives, home-schooling, step councils and other community-led projects.

    2. Health Hub
    Sharing information and support around personal holistic systems, medical support and advice, natural treatments and holistic practitioners.

    3. Enterprise Hub
    Providing advice, support and connections for holistic enterprise start-ups, new projects, local businesses and collaborative ventures.

    4. Lawful Hub
    Connecting members with lawful information, advice and support, advocates and other useful resources, together with a directory of relevant contacts.

    5. Resource Hub
    Creating an holistic directory of contacts, organisations, learning resources, support networks and other information that can help members find what they need.

    A Sustainable Local Model

    We believe communities can develop sustainable systems without relying on an ever-increasing profit model year after year.

    Instead, our vision is to encourage self-sustaining local projects and businesses that serve the needs of the community.

    This includes supporting local growers and producers, encouraging people to buy and collaborate locally, and helping to keep resources, skills and wealth circulating within the community.

    By developing local solutions, we can also help reduce unnecessary transport, pollution and associated costs, while strengthening relationships and keeping our local community connected.
